Upload Your Business Energy Bill
Send us your electricity, gas or water bill and we'll go through it properly. We check the meter reading first — then the rates, the contract dates, the VAT, the CCL and anything else that looks worth querying.
We start with the meter reading
Before we look at prices, before we talk about switching, the first thing we do is check the meter reading on your bill. This tells us whether the bill is based on actual consumption or an estimate — and if it's an estimate, whether it looks reasonable.
A lot of businesses come to us worried about high bills, and the root cause turns out to be a catch-up situation: the supplier has been underestimating consumption for months, and the latest bill is correcting the shortfall. That's a very different problem from simply being on an expensive rate — and it needs a different response.
Once we've established that the consumption figure is accurate, we look at the rates. We check the unit rate against what you should be paying on your contract. We check the standing charge. We check the VAT rate and whether CCL has been applied correctly. We look at the contract end date to see whether you're still in a fixed deal or whether you've moved onto Variable Business Rates.
If we find anything that looks wrong, we'll tell you clearly — and we'll tell you what to do about it.

What happens after you send us your bill
We check the meter reading
Before anything else, we verify whether the bill is based on actual consumption or an estimate. If it's estimated, we assess whether the estimate looks reasonable based on your usage history.
We review the rates and charges
We check the unit rate, standing charge, VAT rate and CCL against what you should be paying. If anything looks wrong, we'll flag it clearly.
We check the contract status
We look at the contract end date to establish whether you're still in a fixed deal or whether you've moved onto Variable Business Rates. If you're out of contract, we'll tell you what that's costing you.
We give you a straight answer
We'll tell you whether the bill looks correct, whether there's anything worth challenging, and whether there's a better deal available. No jargon, no pressure, no obligation.
